Lanarkshire Farmers Markets

Overton, Clarkston, Hamilton

Lanarkshire Farmers’ Market Ltd. currently organises 3 markets every month. These are SATURDAY markets and are held on the same Saturday in each month. Overton Farm in the Clyde Valley is generally held on the FIRST Saturday in each month Trading starts at 10am and continues till 3pm (November – April the stopping time is brought back to 2pm). Carluke is establishing a new market (dates to be confirmed)

Leadburn Community Woodland

Leadburn Community Woodland is an area of former conifer plantation owned by the Forestry Commission that had been clear felled but deemed unsuitable for commercial forestry. It was purchased by Friends of Leadburn Community Woodland, a registered charity, in 2007. Volunteer days run on the last Sunday of the month (except Dec.) – planting mainly native deciduous trees & clearing scrub. Your help, even for a few hours, would be greatly appreciated. Membership is £5 per year (Family £10). Please come and join us.

Whitmuir Organics

A soil association certified organic farm offering fresh locally reared beef, pork, mutton & lamb from our butchery. Home grown seasonal soft fruit & vegetables. Genuinely free range eggs, bread, cheese, milk, groceries, fair trade products etc all 100% organic. Come & visit, get involved & help plan what to produce.

Clyde Organics

Family-run organic dairy farm that supplies wholesale and direct to the public. Our farm is in the Clyde Valley between Lanark and Biggar and all of our milk is produced on our own farm from clover rich pastures. Also growers of a wide selection of vegetables and potatoes, which are sold at the farm and delivered locally within a five-mile radius. Soil Association certified.
