Clyde Valley Orchard Group

The Clyde Valley Orchard Group is a small but growing network of local people who are interested in finding ways to make more of the local orchards. Whether you own an orchard, would like to help out, or just come along to some of our events, you’d be very welcome to join us!
The group has attracted a good deal of interest and support, with grants secured from a number of sources. We run a range of events throughout the year, including training on a range of orchard management activities. Practical sessions are generally small, informal meetings held in suitable local orchards and led by a fruit tree specialist with considerable experience. We are also looking into new markets for the fruit, and involving schools and voluntary groups in some of our work.
